WELCOME . . .
to the GRC 101, Sections 001 - 004

Professor Lyons is not in the classroom this semester for medical reasons. All GRC 101 classes are being conducted by his professional colleagues. The normal projects and assists available here will remain in place but may be heavily supplemented by new materials provided by his replacements and should be your primary source of information.

Remember, you should visit this site least 3 times each week.
Always visit the Announcements page first!
Check out the other pages afterwards.

SPECIAL NOTICES TO ALL OF MY GRC STUDENTS
FOR SPRING 2009

As the semester begins, some specific links may not be immediately active; they will become live as the semester progresses. When pages or links are activated, a notice to that effect is generally posted on the Announcements Page. (Just one more reason you should check it out frequently.)

Welcome to everyone enrolled in  GRC 101
Reasons Why You Must Use This Web Site . . .
     (1) It is specifically designed to support your academic course of study in GRC 101 and GRC 103.
All content is dynamic and changes to reflect events and activities as you experience them in class. The entire site is available for your use but be sure that you open the appropriate class section whenever you are beginning projects which will be submitted for a grade. There may be similarly named projects in both the GRC 101 and GRC 103 sections and you must complete the appropriate one for the class in which you are registered.
     This
is the only site that contains all of the lessons, supplemental information and lecture expansions necessary for you to be successful in this class. Bookmark this site and refer to it at least 3 times a week to keep current on assignments, events, and class activities.

     (3) While this site is designed primarily to convey academic information and instructional materials it does have a number of places where humor, comment and non-academic issues are posted for your information and amusement. Check out the Esoterica and Newseum pages. Esoterica, in particular, changes frequently, is kept technically topical and oft-times provides a lighter look at the world around us.
